Are We Allowed to Lynch Obama Yet?

So it seems like a lot of people have really been hating on President Obama for everything he does. (Or maybe it just seems that way since mostly conservative news always seems to reach my ears.)  People have been saying that he's a communist, that he hates America, and that he isn't doing what a president should do.
Well, I've been sitting here for quite some time trying to figure out how to best write out all of my thoughts on this, but I have decided the best way to address the concerns of the people would prolly be to simply list the ignorant things I have heard said about him, and then to give my response to each.
    Here's hoping that I don't miss any.
    1. Maybe he should actually do something a president should do.
Oh, you mean like lowering taxes for the majority of the people?  Or maybe making sure that they are provided health care?  Actually, neither of those seem like the kind of things that our presidents have been doing.  I guess you're right on this one.
    2. Obama is forcing health care on us!  We don't want to be treated well! (Okay, so maybe that's not a direct quote, but it's what they seem to be saying.)
All I can think about when I hear this is how Michael Moore used his movie Sicko to promote the universal health care systems of Canada, the U.K., France, and Cuba and how bad it was that so many Americans didn't have health care and how it really touched our hearts to think that so many people in this country were going without the care they both needed and deserved.  But, seeing as I'm pretty sure even the conservatives of this country hate Michael Moore now, I guess that my point is no longer valid.
    3. Obama is a communist!
How?  Because he tries to make sure the people of this country are treated well and given the benefits that he believes they deserve?  The moment that you're a nuclear physicist making the same money as the corn farmer (which, by the way, we also have the same government controls over as before, I notice) then you can bring this up.  But, of course, if I try making this point, then you'll prolly just go back to the argument that you used during the primaries, which is that he's really a supporter/believer of the Islamic faith (having been born in Kenya and everything [see below.])  So I guess that I really can't win this point either.
    4. Obama isn't even American!  He was born in Kenya!
Well seeing as we've all seemingly agreed that a birth certificate isn't actual proof of anything, I guess I must succumb to this argument as well.
    5. Obama doesn't even care about the troops!  He's on vacation on Memorial Day! (And, yes, these people do generally seem to shout this much.)
Although he may technically be on vacation today, President Obama did give a remembrance speech at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.  Not to mention the fact the Reagan and both Bush's took vacation on Memorial Day during their presidency.  But then H.W. Bush did visit with a few vets while on vacation in his favourite spot in Maine, and W. Bush had his vice president address the nation with a few words, and I'm pretty sure that Reagen was prolly told to go on vacation (to avoid him doing something dumb.)  Plus Obama delayed his speech because of a torrential downpour and a lightening storm.  Even I can't explain how the president would disrespect our fallen troops like this by doing something so stupid as caring for the safety of those who would attend his speech.  Not to mention the fact that I know that none of you would ever do something like have the day off of work on Memorial Day.  I guess that's another point for you Mr. Obama-Hater.
Well, seeing as I'm already 0/5 here, I guess I should go ahead and admit defeat.  I'll gather the cross, you bring the torches, and we'll have ourselves a good ol' fashioned "impeachment."  Go ahead and comment if there's any more vitally important anti-Obama statements that I forgot to address.

    Civil Revelations

Firstly, please note that this is a blog full of sad revelations I have made over the last four or so years, but that have not really sunk in until lately.  This is in no way a happy blog and you are not expected to be able to stand reading it in its entirety.
Secondly, please also note that this is not a blog to get you to feel sorry for me.  At the most you should feel sorry for my friends while reading this.  Please keep that in mind while reading this.

So there are two ppl in my life that I just can't seem to ever please.  No matter what I say or do, it's never the right thing for these ppl.  Now with one of them I've learned to just go on doing what I do (and doing it to the best of my ability) without caring how they think I did and what they think I should really be doing (or at least for the most part anyway.)  With the other one though I just stop beating myself up so much about how I can never say or do anything right in their eyes.  I mean, I know I really shouldn't care, but it tears me up inside.
You see, this person has helped me to realize that I really am just a total ass.  I've realized I was pretty much a real bad boyfriend to Beth and that I really am a bad friend when it comes to pretty much everybody.  Hell, I can really just be a terrible person in general (and if you want proof, then I have a "fun" little story I can tell to you.)  I treat ppl too much like crap, depend on them far more than anybody can possibly stand, and I just seem to care far too little about how ppl are doing.

The sad truth, I've come to realize, is that odds are far more in favor that I will die alone.  Oh, yes, I may have a few friends I've managed to cling onto, but certainly no one that has become really, really close with me. (Of course that also has something to do with my being far too shy, but that's another thing completely.)
I say this not to try to get you to feel bad for me and show pity.  Oh, God, no.  Although I do strive for attention in acceptance far too much (and in such a way that's prolly unhealthy), other ppl's pity is one of the last things I want.

Now I suppose this is the point where I'm supposed to turn these revelations into some sort of vow where I tell you all (and myself) that I will become a better friend and, in general, just a better person and that, in the off-chance that I do manage to get another girlfriend, I will treat them much better and will learn to not be so damn needy.  However, I just don't see any of that happening.  As much as I think I want it to happen, I just don't think it will.  It has nothing to do with being lazy or anything like that; the simple matter of the fact is that I am an asshole and I will forever be one because (as much as I try and wish I could to finally do right in the person's eyes) I just can't change who I am and how terribly I act.

    *sigh*  Oh well.

Again, please note that this blog is in no way intended to make you feel bad for me.  In fact, if you're at all like me (scary thought, no?) then you prolly dislike me even more after reading this.  But, anyway, no, this is a blog intended to make you feel bad for those in my life.

Thank you to those who actually read through this.  At least that's some kind of sign, eh?

Weighing the Pros and Cons of the "New Moon" Movie

Con: Taylor Lautner appears much more in this one.
Pro: Robert Pattinson should be in this one less.

Con: Taylor Lautner is still way funny looking.
Pro: He cut that nasty looking hair of his to a length that far better suits him.

Con: Edward is still being portrayed by a "pretty boy" who used to be a model until he wasn't "girlish" enough and he actually became rather funny looking.  Emmett is also still being portrayed by an Abercrombie & Fitch model.
Pro: Ah, who am I kidding.  The pro's right there.  So many of these male characters are or at least look like they could be underwear models.  Grrr.

    Con: Kristen Stewart.
Pro: Well... She was in Panic Room.  That doesn't necessarily mean anything in regards to this movie, but it raises your hope somewhat remembering that she was pretty good (going into diabetic shock) in such a great movie.

Con: The entire stroyline is, for a lack of a better word, stupid and doesn't seem like it was really thought out at all.  It portrays vampires as gay, pretty boys who are so romantic that they'll climb in through girls' windows and watch them for hours as they sleep.  Heck, even if we were okay with portraying vampires (the dark, undead creatures who rule the night and instill fear into the minds of anybody and everybody) as anything other than dark, undead creatures who rule the night and instill fear into the minds of anybody and everybody... Well, these character would still be insufficient at best.  Let's face it: when Edward is claiming that he's going to go in front of the Vatican and reveal himself, well there's no actual worry that everyone would be upset over seeing a vampire; they'd all be upset because they'd think that surely someone covered in that much glitter is homosexual, and that doesn't fly well in front of that many Catholics.
Pro: Ummm... Well, there's also... Uhhh... Yeah.
